He is a versatile singer. Sings all types of traditional Bengali songs including Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Dwijendra Geeti and Rajanikanter Gaan. Also sings Bengali Devotional Songs, Folklore and Modern Songs.
He is a regular artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, the state-run television channel. Performs in private radio and television channels as well. He has performed in many music festivals. Notable among them are Haldia Utsav, Bishwa Banga Sammelan and Banga Sanskriti Utsav.
